Spellbinders New Releases and some big surprises!

Hi Everyone,
CHA brings the promise of many great products and this year is no exception. Some of the products are not surprises, as the companies have let us know in advance what we can look forward to. Ranger and Tim Holtz have been busy, and they've developed some more wonderful colors in the Distress inks! It's always exciting when new colors are released, as Distress Inks are super, and so great to work with!
These inks have become favorites with many rubber stampers and paper crafters the world over! When used with water, they can give a distressed, vintage look to your projects, or, use as a 'regular ink', just stamp and let dry and enjoy the vibrant colored image that will stay wet long enough to emboss, unlike most die inks.... I personally like to use them with the Distressed Embossing powders of a 'different color', then rub with my finger releasing some of the powder, so I have the color of the ink showing in some areas of the image and colors of the Distressed Embossing powder showing in other areas.
As usual, the new colors of Distressed Inks will go well with the distressed ink colors that we've been using until now! From what I've been told it will take at least a month or so for the new inks to actually reach the distributor's, and be available for ordering. I will be putting the new colors on my website and will be taking pre-orders for them. There will be a catalog area for CHA new releases. You will be able to see the new releases and their expected date of arrival there for all products being released, except for Spellbinders Nestabilities, embossing dies and other new products, as they have their own category.
Speaking of Spellbinders, they've surprised many of us with their new CHA winter releases! We expected more great Spellbinders Nestabilities, Borders, Labels, and embossing dies......and we were given a hint of something 'very new' to come...They definitely have kept their promise...Their new product Presto Punch had me doing a 'double take'.....

At first I thought 'A Punch??? why??'...then I read more and thought about it...
Presto Punch is a battery operated automatic punch and embossing system. It is lightweight, and compact, Size:L x W x H 5.25" x 4.5" x 7", and weighs 3.8 lbs (with 8 AA batteries). "can store over 30 punch designs in the space of one standard punch." Spellbinders makes 'Presto Punch Cutting Dies' that fit into the Presto Punch that will 'Punch' and Emboss!!....The Presto Punch comes with a Bonus....Spellbinders has included $40.00 (retail value) of Cutting Dies with the Presto Punch! That's right, You will receive an assortment of Cutting dies when you purchase your Presto Punch! Sounds good...But, in my opinion, Here's the BEST part #1The Cutting dies from the Presto Punch can be used in your Big Shot, Cuttlebug or most personal die cutting machines that you already own! The Presto Punch Cutting Dies packages are less expensive to purchase than the Spellbinders Nestabilities and Embossing dies. There are fewer designs in a package, but if you want a few seasonal designs you can get them at a better price. The cutting dies are available in various patterns, including 'labels' designs, embossing die sets, such as flowers, leaves, and also in Fonts. They have three different 40 piece font sets that will be available. Shown here are 'Labels B'. And, also 'Petals Patch'....Just in time for spring! They also have a set of leaves, ovals, squares, party pack embossing dies...and more.
I've got several stamping friends and customers who have problems with Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and other conditions that are causing problems when they use punches or personal die cutting machines with either ratchet or 'crank 'style of handle'. This battery operated punch should help make punching, embossing and die cutting easier for them. That would be wonderful!
I didn't even touch on the great new Spellbinders Nestabilities, Labels Borders and themed sets of embossing dies that Spellbinders are releasing. They have some great new shapes. I particularly like the new Labels they've released. Very great unique shapes...And the Spellbinders Big Scalloped Ovals Nestabilities I think is a shape that I'll personally use a lot! Take a look at the new releases in my Online Catalog at Spellbinder New Releases 2010 at new Lower prices (don't you just love it when the exchange rate is good!). To make sure you get your Spellbinders new Nestabilities at these great prices as soon as they arrive, place your pre-order by emailing me. Pre-order deadline for Spellbinders New Releases is January 31, 2010.
I'll be adding more new releases announced at CHA to the online catalog over the next few days/weeks. Please email me with any orders, questions or requests for products. As usual, if there is something you are looking for, and you can't find in your local Stamp/Paper Crafting Store, I'll do my best to bring it in for you if I don't have it in stock.
Thanks for visiting,
Have a wonderful day
