Tim Holtz, Spellbinders and more

Where has the time gone?  I'm afraid I'm late in posting...again.  This time of year is so exciting, with all the new releases finally arriving.  There are always some companies who aren't able to ship everything until later, and it seems that the longer I wait, the more excited I get.  I've been chomping at the bit, looking forward to seeing Tim Holtz new Bigz dies and On the Edge Borders for Halloween, Christmas and the Fall and Winter season.  They've arrived!....and they were well worth the wait!
The Snowflake 'On the Edge' die is exactly as I've imagined!  Gorgeous!  I've got so many ideas of how I'd like to use it in my holiday cards.  I've been thinking of how nice it would be, embellished with Ranger's Antiquities embossing powder,  Frosted Crystal, which is a holiday favorite of mine.  (I like stamping delicate snowflakes on a dark background, then use the Frosted Crystal EP....after it's heated, it looks like the frost on a window, in the winter, even has a frosty texture) Tim's Texturz embossing folders arrived as well, and they are perfect for the holidays!  The  'Cattails & Pumpkin Patch'  embossing folder, and the Tattered Leaves (BIGZ) will get a lot of use by me, and I can't wait to get started (as soon as I finish this post, I'm going to go to my Stamp room and start ripping into packages!, lol)
I love this set of embossing folders!   I'm thinking about using the cattails on a piece of cardstock that has been colored using DTP to look like a sunset....then, Ranger's black pigment ink (Pitch Black) swiped over the cattails.....Of course, I'd also highlight with Shimmerz  paints, to add the little bit of 'shimmer to the sky.  When I get it done, I'll post a picture of it.  (we can see how it looks)...

The Tattered Leaves Bigz dies have been really popular also, but I've got a couple left, (which means I get to have one)
I think they're so pretty.    I always say that Christmas season is my favorite, but, you know, I think Autumn is pretty close behind it.  Mother Nature has given us her 'one last hurrah' with all the bright colors of the leaves, and, with Tim Holtz /Ranger's Distress inks, and their ability to spread, without losing their colors when water is used, offers us the ability to give mother nature a 'run for her money', as the old saying goes...Gee, am I ever full of cliches today!  When I was typing this, it came to mind how nice these would look, with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist, or ClearSnap's Smooch Spritzes.  Especially the new Donna Salazar Vintage colors, in the Artsy Eight Set.

We've received some great new embossing folders from Craft-Too, a company located in the United Kingdom.  Their A2 size folders are about the same width as Cuttlebug's embossing folders, but these are a little longer.  I like the delicacy of their designs.  The Butterflies embossing folder has dainty little butterflies, with little 'trails' behind them, showing movement.  Very delicate looking.
They've made available some very unique embossing folders, that I'm waiting to arrive within the week.  These include a very masculine looking 'Tools' embossing folder that is in a new size, 5 x 6".  Also available in this larger size is 'Music Notes'.  Of course, there are some lovely new A2 sizes available. Below is the Rose / Hearts frame, perfect for Valentines day, and, my personal
favorite, All that is needed here, is a great heat embossed sentiment .....That would also be great to use for a Wedding card.
The Craft-Too embossing folders can be found in the Cuttlebug New Releases 2010 section of my online catalog, where they're interspersed with the new Cuttlebug folders and sets.  You will find five pages of embossing folders and dies from these two companies.  (98 different embossing folders and sets)

I've been notified that the Spellbinders Grand Calibur embossing/die cutting machine and Grand Nestabilities will be arriving within the next few weeks.
These larger dies will be perfect for those of us who have been looking for larger dies for our book-making and scrapbooking projects!
These can be found in our online catalog, under the category Spellbinders New Releases, on Page Two

If there are any items that you have questions about, or would like to order, please feel free to contact me.
I'm going to play in my Stamping room now!  With new embossing folders, dies, borders and nestabilities...Smooch Spritzes, Shimmerz Paints....the difficult part will be deciding on what to play with first...so many Wonderful rubber stamping and paper crafting products....and so little time!
I hope you have a wonderful Halloween weekend!
Thanks for visiting.
